How it works

Three steps. One of them is yours.

  1. 1

    Connect Gmail

Karen reads 12 months of receipts, bills, subscriptions and travel emails. Nothing else.

  2. 2

    She finds the money

Forgotten subscriptions, refundable renewals, fees, double charges, delayed flights. About a minute.

  3. 3

    She gets it back

Karen writes the email, you approve it, it goes from your Gmail. She tracks every reply.

What Karen finds

Money that was quietly walking out the door.

Real kinds of finds, from real kinds of emails. Yours will be your own.

Your inbox, respected

Karen reads receipts. She doesn't snoop.

Google will ask you to allow full Gmail access (that's the only option Google offers for reading receipts). Here's what Karen actually does with it.

Read the privacy policy
  • Reads only money emails: receipts, bills, subscriptions and travel.
  • From each email, keeps only the merchant, amount, date and a link back. Never the email itself.
  • Never deletes anything. Never sends anything without your OK.
  • No ads, no selling your data, and no person reads your mail.
  • Disconnect and delete everything, any time, in one click.

Questions

Why does Google's screen say “Composio”?+

Composio is the Google-verified service Karen uses to connect to Gmail securely. Google names it on the sign-in screen. Karen still only reads money emails and never sends anything without your OK.

Will Karen email companies without asking me?+

Never. She writes the email, you read it, change anything you like, and press send. It goes out once, from your own Gmail, and she watches for the reply.

What does it cost?+

Nothing. Karen is free: no subscription, no card, and every dollar she gets back is yours. Her first claim is on the house; share your Karen Audit to your story or invite a friend to keep Karen going.

What can she handle today?+

Subscriptions and renewals, free trials that turned into charges, flight delays and cancellations (EU261, UK261, US DOT refunds) and duplicate charges, by email. Bills and bank fees go on her call list: the phone line is coming.
